Warsaw, Poland, May 12, 2025, ChargeEuropa, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Trei Real Estate Poland - one of the largest players on the Polish retail park market, whose portfolio currently consists of 42 retail parks under the Vendo Park banner. This collaboration aims to install fast EV charging stations at Vendo Park retail parks throughout Poland, enhancing the country's EV infrastructure and providing convenient charging options for drivers.
Trei's Vendo Park brand has experienced significant growth in Poland, with 42 retail parks established since the first opening in Nysa in October 2013. In 2024 alone, Trei invested approximately €44.2 million in three new Vendo Parks, adding around 35,000 square meters of lettable area. These developments reflect the increasing demand for diverse retail amenities in Poland.
ChargeEuropa, known for its advertising-supported EV charging network, recently surpassed 100 charging sites across Poland. The company's chargers are strategically located in high-traffic areas such as shopping centers, retail parks, and city centers, ensuring accessible and efficient charging solutions for EV drivers.
"We are thrilled to partner with Trei Real Estate Poland to expand our network of fast EV chargers at Vendo Park locations," said Mikołaj Moszyński, Head of Business Development. "This collaboration aligns with our mission to accelerate EV adoption by providing convenient and reliable charging infrastructure. We thank Trei for their trust in ChargeEuropa and look forward to contributing to a sustainable future together."
The integration of fast EV charging stations at Vendo Parks will offer numerous benefits to both consumers and tenants. EV drivers will have the convenience of charging their vehicles while accessing a variety of retail services. For retailers, the presence of charging stations is expected to attract high-income, loyal customers, potentially increasing foot traffic and sales.
"Demand for retail parks continues to rise in Poland, and incorporating EV charging stations enhances the value we provide to our customers and tenants," said Jacek Wesołowski, Managing Director of Trei Real Estate Poland. "Our ESG strategy involves implementing environmentally friendly solutions already at the planning stage of a particular development, as well as adapting the operating Vendo Parks to environmental requirements. Eight of them have recently obtained international BREEAM environmental certification, while another nine are in the certification process. Our partnership with ChargeEuropa underscores Trei's commitment to sustainability and meeting the evolving needs of the local communities."
The rollout of fast EV chargers at Vendo Park locations is set to commence in the coming months, with plans to equip all existing and future parks across Poland. This initiative represents a significant step forward in supporting Poland's transition to cleaner transportation and underscores the collaborative efforts of ChargeEuropa and Trei Real Estate Poland in promoting sustainable development.
